"Perfect 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 4 even up to 5. Apartment offers a range of activities very clean throughout, loved the fact that there is a little balcony outside for bbq and the terrace upstairs. If you fancy cooking there is all the cooking equipment. Peaceful areaI loved the fact that the location was veey convinient specially for a family has nearby little park to play for kids, 8 min walk to the local pool which is free to use for you and the family, just by the pool there is a resturant and bar which parents can sit and have a drink there is also a nearby resturant if you fancy eating out or a local supermarket that has all the essentials. The host is very welcoming, charming and friendly. loved every part of my stay with the kids.”

"I appreciated the clean beddings and fresh towels provided. The laptop tray was a good addition as it helped with my working posture. The barbecue grills outside were also a nice touch. Having a safe in the apartment was definitely a plus. I loved everything about the apartment and how it was furnished. It was great to find toilet paper in the bathroom, which is a necessity. However, my only dislike was that the kitchen cabinets were not clean, giving the impression that they hadn't been used in a long time. On a positive note, having a bottle of water for guests upon arrival is a very good idea, and I would highly recommend it.”

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel, just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big, but the host is easy to reach via message, phone call, and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

Fully functional apartment and hosts are easy to contact. It was a lovely stay! The location was ideal and because it's a gated community, there is access to restaurants, including one that is near the beachfront/ reef coral. Across this street when you get out of the gated community, there is a mall, and you can do some shopping at the supermarket and dine at another restaurant next to a coffee shop. The location is really convenient. Fumba town gives you a chance to also live like a local, and it's easy to meet other foreigners there who can give you more information on how to go about seeing different places. We met so many other foreigners who actually lived there, ate with them, socialized with them, and got recommendations from them. The hosts checked up on us and we're easy to contact.

The place was beautiful with an amazing view. Everything was in good working condition — the lights, air conditioning, appliances, fans, and TV (with Netflix) all functioned well. I also appreciated the key box with a code for easy access and the security camera positioned at the door, which made me feel safe. There are a few areas that could be improved. The shower gel containers in both bathrooms were empty. Although we brought our own, since the bottles are provided, it would be helpful to ensure they are stocked. It would also be a nice touch to provide at least two small bottles of water in the fridge for guests. Additionally, the $25 charge on the bill for monthly apartment services feels quite high to pass on fully to short-term guests. The lounge TV also did not switch on, which may have been due to remote control battery issues. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location and view, but addressing these small details would make the experience even better.

Fumba Town is positioned on the south-west coast of Zanzibar, just 6 km from the international airport and within easy reach of Stone Town, Jozani Forest, pristine beaches and world-class diving spots. The estate features a mall, co-working space (Aura Space), a beach bar, food court and international schools nearby — making it an excellent base for families, digital nomads and holiday travellers alike.
